Afyonkarahisar’dan 200 yıl önce Suriye’ye göç eden Afyoni ailesinin fertleri, Suriye’deki iç savaş nedeniyle memleketlerine geri döndü.
Afyonkarahisar’dan yaklaşık 200 yıl önce Suriye’ye göç etme kararı alan ve Şam’a yerleşen Afyoni ailesinin kaderini, Suriye’deki savaş değiştirdi. Aile fertlerinden Jamal Al Afyoni, hayatın giderek zorlaşması üzerine, işini ve evini bırakıp, ailesiyle dedesinin toprakları olan Afyonkarahisar’a göç etti.
Yıllardır biriktirdiklerini geride bırakıp, eşi Heam, çocukları Rwan (7) ve Redwan (10) ile Türkiye’de yeni bir hayat kuran Afyoni, oto yıkamacılığı yaparak ailesini geçindiriyor.
Jamal Al Afyoni, AA muhabirine yaptığı açıklamada, dedelerinin 200 yıl önce Afyonkarahisar’dan Suriye’ye göç ettiğini söyledi.
Şam’da lokanta işlettiğini, durumun gayet olduğunu anlatan Afyoni, “Suriye’de evim, arabam, dükkanım vardı. Hepsi gitti, bombalar isabet etti. Hepsini bırakıp buraya gelmek zorunda kaldık” dedi.
Afyoni, yaklaşık 8 ay önce Afyonkarahisar’a yerleştiklerini ifade ederek, ailesinin ihtiyaçlarını karşılayabilmek için günde 8 saat oto yıkama işinde çalıştığını aktardı.
Afyonkarahisar’da kendilerine yeni sayfa açtıklarını dile getiren Afyoni, “Kirada oturuyorum. 2 çocuğum var, onlara bakmak zorundayım. Okula giden çocuklarımın masrafları oluyor. Onları karşılamak için çalışmak zorundayım” diye konuştu.
“Sadece kaçanlar kurtuldu”
Afyoni, Suriye’de hayatın çok zor olduğunu belirterek, şöyle devam etti:
“Elektrik ve su yok. Suriye’de savaş bitse bile dönmek istemiyoruz. Önce Suriye’deki Esed güçleriyle muhalifler arasında kaldık. Esed Şii, biz Sünni olduğumuz için arada kaldık. Arabalarımızı, evlerimizi yakıp yıktılar. Bizi göç etmek zorunda bıraktılar. Yiyecek ekmek, su bulamadık, bizi talan ettiler. 4 kardeşimin çocukları, komşularımız savaşta öldü. Sadece kaçanlar kurtuldu. 4 kız ve 1 erkek kardeşim var. Birisi buraya yanıma geldi. Çocuklarım orada yaşadıklarımızı hala unutamıyor. Ocak ayında buradaki havai fişek gösterisinden çok korktular. Sesleri bomba sanıp, bana sarıldılar. Yüksek sesten hala çok korkuyorlar. Türk insanı çok iyi. Cumhurbaşkanımız Recep Tayyip Erdoğan çok iyi. Ona çok teşekkür ederiz. Ondan Allah razı olsun. Suriyelilere çok yardımcı oldu.”
