Kosova Cumhurbaşkanı Hashim Thaçi, Başbakan Ramush Haradinaj’ın, Sırbistan ve Bosna Hersek ürünlerine uygulanan gümrük vergisinin kaldırılması konusunda ABD’yi dinlememekle hata yaptığını değerlendirdi.
Kosova’nın, ABD’nin tavsiyelerine saygı duyması gerektiğini kaydeden Cumhurbaşkanı Thaçi, “ABD’ye hayır demekle, ABD ile çatışmada olan ülkeleri de aştık” ifadesini kullandı.
Thaçi, ABD ile ilişkiler ve dostluğun pahalı olduğunu vurguladı. Kosova’nın geleceğinin, ABD’nin desteğine bağlı olduğunu söyledi.
Sırbistan ile diyalog yolunun açılması için Sırp ürünlerine uygulanan gümrük vergisinin kaldırılması yönünde ABD’yi tümüyle destelediğini ifade etti.
