2015 yılında ilk şubesini Priştine’de açan Ziraat Bankası bugün (14.05.2018) Prizren Şubesini törenle açtı.
Açılış töreninde hazır bulunanları selamlayan Ziraat Bankası Genel Müdürü Hüseyin Aydın, dost ve kardeş ülke Kosova’da Ziraat Bankası’nın ikinci şubesinin açılması mutluluğunu ifade etti.
“Prizren Şubemiz ise 154 yıllık geçmişiyle Türkiye’nin yanı sıra 18 farklı ülkede 95 noktada hizmet veren Ziraat Finans Grubu’nun 96. hizmet noktası olacaktır” diyen Aydın, en kısa zamanda İpek şehrinde de bir şube açacaklarını bildirdi.
Kosova Bankacılık Otoritesi Başkanı Fehmi Mehmeti, Ziraat Bankası’nın ikinci şubesinin açılması Kosova için önemli olduğunu söyledi. Bu açılışın da Kosova’nın yatırımlar ve bankacılık için uygun olduğunun en iyi bir göstergesini teşkil ettiğini söyleyen Mehmeti, Kosova’da bankacılık sektörünün Avrupa standartlarına yakın olduğunu vurguladı.
Yeni açılan Ziraat Bankası Prizren Şubesini kutlayan Kosova Kamu Yönetimi Bakanı Mahir Yağcılar, Kosova’da bankacılık ve ekonomik kalkınmaya olduğu gibi Kosova-Türkiye ilişkilerine de destek olacağı inancını ifade etti.
T.C. Priştine Büyükelçisi Kıvılcım Kılıç, Türkiye’nin bütün kurumlar ve temsilcileriyle Kosova’nın kalkınmasına elden geleni yapmaya devam ettiğini vurguladı. Ziraat Bankası’nın Prizren’de Şubesi’nin açılmasıyla Türkiye’den yatırımların da artacağı inancını ifade eden Kılıç, Türkiye’nin ileride de Kosova’nın yanında olacağını bildirdi.
Yapılan konuşmalardan sonra kurdele kesimiyle Ziraat Bankası Prizren Şubesi hizmete açıldı. Açılıştan sonra verilen kokteylde pasta kesildi ve davetliler sohbet etme fırsatı buldu.
