Kuzey Makedonya’nın güneybatısındaki Ohri şehrinde bu yıl 10’uncusu düzenlenen “Uluslararası Kuzey Makedonya İzcilik Yaz Kampı”nın açılışı programı düzenlendi.
Türk İşbirliği ve Koordinasyon Ajansı Başkanlığı (TİKA) destekleriyle, Türkiye İzcilik Federasyonu ve Kalkan Derneğince düzenlenen yaz kampının açılışına TİKA Üsküp Koordinatörü Aytekin Ayden, Türkiye ile Kuzey Makedonya İzcilik Federasyonu temsilcileri, ülkedeki Türk kurum ve kuruluşlarının temsilcileri, Türkiye ve 7 Balkan ülkesinden 300 izci katıldı.
TİKA Koordinatörü Ayden, programda yaptığı konuşmada, Kalkan İzcilik Kulübü ile Kuzey Makedonya ve bölgede izciliğin öneminin anlatıldığını söyledi.
Kurum olarak 2010’dan itibaren uluslararası izcilik kampını desteklediklerini belirten Ayden, “Bu kampın neticesinde izciliğin ana amacı olan özellikle yardımseverliği, iş birliğini, paylaşmayı, iyi bir insan olmayı ve tüm bu güzelliklerle iyiliği yaşadığımız ülkelere taşıyarak, o ülkelerin barışı ve huzuru devam ettirmesini temin etmeyi amaçlıyoruz.” ifadelerini kullandı.
Ayden, Uluslararası İzcilik Kampı’nda dostluk ateşinin yakılacağını, bu ateşinin bölgeye geçmişteki gibi barış, güzellik ve paylaşma getirmesi temennisinde bulundu.

Türkiye İzcilik Federasyonu Başkanı Hasan Subaşı da izcilerle ve misafirlerle bir arada olmaktan duyduğu mutlululuğu ifade etti.
Açılış programındaki herkesin aslında büyük bir kültürün parçası olduğunu dile getiren Subaşı, şunları söyledi:
“Sizler, bu kültürün yayılmış olduğu alanları gönlünün sınırları olarak belirleyen, gönlünün sınırlarını topraklarının sınırlarıyla sınırlandırmayıp çok daha geniş tutan izcilersiniz ve birbirinizle kardeş olduğunuzu, çok uzakta yaşasanız bile aynı kültürü, gönlü paylaştığınızı yaşayarak görüyorsunuz.”
Makedonya Türk Sivil Toplum Kuruluşları Başkanı Hüsrev Emin de kampın gençlere izcilik anlayışını öğrettiğini belirterek, izcilik kampının Balkanlarda yaşayan farklı milletlerin bir arada yaşaması, birbirleriyle kaynaşması adına da çok önemli olduğunu vurguladı.
Kalkan Derneği Başkanı Cengiz Destan ise düzenledikleri İzcilik Kampına desteklerinden dolayı TİKA’ya teşekkürlerini iletti.
Türkiye ve Balkanların 7 ülkesinden 300 izcinin yer aldığı kamp, 5 Temmuz’da sona erecek.
