Büyükşehir Belediyesiden yapılan açıklamaya göre, resim sanatıyla Adana’nın uluslararası düzeyde tanıtımını sağlamak amacıyla 1. Uluslararası Türk Dünyası Sanat Çalıştayı organize edildi.
Küratörlüğünü Doç. Dr. Birsen Çeken ve Doç. Dr. Gültekin Akegün’ün üstlendiği çalıştaya Türkiye, Arnavutluk, Azerbaycan, Başkurdistan, Bosna Hersek, Dağıstan, Hırvatistan, İran, Karadağ, Kazakistan, Kırgızistan, Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti (KKTC), Kosova, Makedonya, Özbekistan, Sırbistan ve Tacikistan’dan 77 ressam katılacak. Ressamlar, Adana Kültür Merkezi olarak kullanılan tarihi kız lisesi binasında kentin tarihi, doğal ve kültürel güzelliklerini çeşitli tekniklerle resmedecek.
Çalıştaya katılan ressamlar, çalışmalarını halka açık yürütecek. Sanatseverler ve resim tutkunları, Adana’yı çeşitli yönleriyle tuvale yansıtan ressamlarla kısa söyleşiler de yapabilecek.
