Balkanlar’da bazı yemekleriyle günümüze kadar tadını devam ettiren Osmanlı mutfağı, düzenlenen bir organizasyon ile tekrar kendinden çokça söz ettirdi. Yüzyılların lezzetleri Kosovalılarla yeniden buluştu.
Yunus Emre Enstitüsü Priştine Türk Kültür Merkezi’nin düzenlediği etkinlikle Kosovalılara Osmanlı mutfağından nadide örnekler sunuldu.
Organizasyonu düzenleyen Yunus Emre Enstitüsü Priştine Türk Kültür Merkezi Müdürü Bülent Uçpunar, mutfağımızın kültürümüzün çok önemli bir parçası olduğunu hatırlattı.” Mutfak sadece beslenmekle ilgili değil, kültürümüzün bir çok farklı öğesini içeren bir alandır” şeklinde açıklama yapan Uçpunar, Osmanlı mutfağını veya Türk mutfağını Kosovalılara tanıtmak için dört ayaklı bir etkinlik düzenlediklerini belirtti.
Renkli geçen geceye Türkiye’nin Priştine Büyükelçisi Kıvılcım Kılıç, Prizren Başkonsolusu Selen Evcim, Kosova Meclisi’nde Türk milletvekili Fikrim Damka, TİKA Kosova Koordinatörü Eyüp Yavuz Ümütlü, Türk Temsil Heyet Başkanlığı temsilcileri ve Kosova ile Türkiye kurum ile kuruluş temsilcileri ile davetliler katıldı.
Gecede yaptığı konuşmada Türkiye’nin Priştine Büyükelçisi Kıvılcım Kılıç, 600 yılı aşkın süre boyunca farklı medeniyetleri içerisinde barındıran Osmanlı devletinin çok zengin çok güzel bir mutfak kültürüne sahip olduğunu bildiklerini belirtti. Türk damak tadını bir araya getiren Osmanlı mutfağının izlerini bugün çok çeşitli ülkelerin mutfaklarında görülmesinin mümkün olduğunu anımsatan Büyükelçi Kılıç, “burada ülkemiz için tarihin derinliklerinden gelen çok özel anlamlarla yüklü ilişkiler içerisinde olduğumuz bu coğrafyada , bu dost ve kardeş ülke Kosova’da da halklarımız arasındaki yakın bağları, günlük hayatımızda pek çok alanda gördüğümüz gibi tabiyatıyla mutfağımızda da görüyoruz” ifadelerini kullandı.
Priştine’nin saygın restoranlarından birinde, şef Vasfi Pakman ve ekibi tarafından hazırlanan yemeklerden, konuklara peynirli tarhana çorbası, soğuk mezeler, zeytinyağlı dolma, börek, köfte, kızartmalar, kestaneli kuzu kızartma, güllaç, şöbiyet, şerbet ve Türk kahvesi ikram edildi.
Gecede Osmanlı Mutfağı ile ilgili konferans veren Prof. Dr. Arif Bilgin yaptığı açıklamada, Osmanlıların bu mutfağın imparatorluk coğrafyasının farklı bölgelerine taşıdıklarını belirterek, Osmanlıların gittikleri yerlerde bu mutfağı kolayca tanıttıklarını hatırlattı. “Bu çerçevede bol miktarda ürünün, yemeğin farklı coğrafyalarda aynı isimlerle anıldığını görüyorsunuz. Osmanlı mutfağını karakterize eden bir sürü yemek var ama 3 tane ana yemekten söz etmek mümkündür.Bunlardan birisi çorba, ikincisi et yemeği ve üçüncüsü de pilavdır. Bu üçü Osmanlı mutfağını temsil eder. İçeceklerden iki şey temsil eder. O da şerbet ve kahvedir” şeklinde konuştu.
Gecede “Miniyatürlerde Osmanlı Mutfağı” sergisi açıldı. Ayrıca klasik Türk müziklerinden örnekler sergilendi.
