Kutsal topraklarda 13 gün arayla meydana gelen iki ayrı facia, güvenlik tedbirlerinin yetersizliği iddialarını gündeme getirdi.
Mescid-i Haram’da 11 Eylül’de yaşanan ve 110 hacı adayının vefat etmesiyle sonuçlanan vinç kazasının ardından Mina’da izdiham nedeniyle meydana gelen facia, kutsal topraklarda bayramın buruk yaşanmasına yol açtı.
Yaklaşık 2 milyon Müslümanın bulunduğu kutsal topraklarda, çok sayıda kişinin hayatını kaybettiği iki facia yüzlerdeki tebessümü hüzne dönüştürdü.
Vinç kazası
Mescid-i Haram’da yaşanan vinç kazasının ardından yapılan resmi açıklamada, kazaya fırtınanın yanı sıra ”iş makinelerinin kullanım kılavuzuna uygun kullanılmamasının” neden olduğu itirafı, güvenlik önlemlerinin gözardı edildiği gerçeğini gün yüzüne çıkarmıştı.
Mina’daki facia
Mina’da yaşanan ve yaklaşık 800 Müslümanın hayatını kaybettiği facianın, iki grubun karşılaşması sonucu meydana gelmesi güvenlik önlemlerini tekrar gündeme taşıdı.
Mekke’deki Türk hacılar, izdihamın, bölgede yeterli güvenlik önleminin alınmamasından kaynaklandığı inancını taşıyor.
