Türklerin çoğunlukta olduğu ve Kosova’da Türklerin yönettiği tek Türk Belediyesi olan Mamuşa’da üretim alanlarının artırılması, üretim teknolojisinin geliştirilmesi ve istihdam oluşturma amacıyla geçimlerini tarım sektöründen sağlayan Akasya Tarımcılık Derneği üyesi 45 çiftçiye tarım makinesi desteği verildi.
TİKA tarafından gerçekleştirilen proje kapsamında, 15 adet toprak mikseri-freze, 10 adet ilaçlama makinesi, 10 adet diskli tırmık, 5 adet pulluk ve 5 adet bıçaklı tırmık makinesi ile dernek üyesi tüm çiftçilerin faydalanabileceği 1 adet 4 sıralı fide ekme makinesi düzenlenen törenle çiftçilere teslim edildi.

TİKA BADA Daire Başkanı Dr. Mahmut Çevik törende yaptığı açıklamada, TİKA olarak Kosova genelinde kırsal alanlarda ve Mamuşa’da tarımsal kalkınmayı ön plana alarak yeni bir yatırım programı başlattıklarını kaydetti. TİKA BADA Daire Başkanı Dr. Çevik, bu çerçevede çiftçilere temin edilen tarım makineleri ve daha önceden yapılan sera çalışmalarıyla mevcut cari üretim potansiyelini arttırmaya devam edeceklerini söyledi. Dr. Çevik,TİKA projelerinin temel maksadının bugüne kadar olduğu gibi bundan sonrada yıllar önce var olan dostluğun samimiyetin kardeşliğin bu coğrafyada sağlanmasına katkı sağlamak olduğunu vurguladı.
Kosova’da tarım faaliyetinin en yoğun olarak gerçekleştirildiği bölgelerden biri olan Mamuşa’da gerçekleştirilen tarım makineleri desteği ile üretim teknolojisinin geliştirilmesiyle yapılan işin maliyeti düşürülerek, toprağın ekim vaktine yetişmesi, yabancı otlarla mücadele edilmesi ve ekimin zamanında yapılması sağlanacak.
