Muhalefet tarafından biber gazı sıkılması ile göz yaşartıcı atılmasının ardından Meclis Genel Kurul çalışmalarının başka bir salonda devam etmesi üzerine, Vetëvendosje Hareketi’nin öncülüğündeki diğer iki muhalefet partisi sempatizanları Meclis binasının arka girişinde toplandı.
Sırp Belediyeler Topluluğu ile Kosova ve Karadağ Sınır Anlaşmaları’nın geçersiz sayılmasını talep eden göstericiler, bir süre sakin eylem düzenledi. Milletvekillerinin kullandığı girişin yer aldığı Meclis arka bölümündeki avluya eylemcilerin firmesini engelemek amacıyla Kosova polisi ek önlemler aldı.
Etten duvar ören polis, göstericilerin meclis avlusuna girmesini önledi. Hükümet karşıtı slogan atan göstericiler, meclis binasını taş yağmuruna tuttu. Muhalefetin katılmadığı salonda meclis genel kurulunun engellenmesi için meclisin camlarınım kıran göstericiler, polis kordonuna boya attı. Polis göstericilere göz yaşartcı bomba ile karşılık verdi.
Meclisin arka bölümündeki “Adem Jashari” meyadanı bir anda savaş alanına döndü. Göstericler polislere taş, polisler de göstericilere göz yaşartıcı attı. Gerginlik giderek arttı. Polis harekete geçerek, göstercilerine üzerine yürüdü. Göstericiler ara sokaklara kaçıştı. Protesto gösterisinde bir kaç polis ile göstericinin yaralandığı öğrenildi.
