Rum yönetimi lideri Anastasiadis, Yunanistan Başbakanı Çipras ve İsrail Başbakanı Netanyahu, Lefkoşa’da bir araya geldi.
Güney Kıbrıs Rum yönetimi lideri Nikos Anastasiadis’in ev sahipliğinde Yunanistan Başbakanı Aleksis Çipras ve İsrail Başbakanı Benjamin Netanyahu arasında yüksek düzeyli iş birliği üçlü zirvesi Lefkoşa’da düzenlendi.
Rum Başkanlık Sarayı’ndaki zirvenin ardından üç lider, ortak basın toplantısı düzenledi.
Rum lider Anastasiadis, üç ülke arasında barış ve güvenlik için ortak bir vizyon olduğunu söyledi.
Zirvenin çok önemli bir jeopolitik değere sahip olduğunu dikkati çeken Anastasiadis, üç ülke arasında iş birliklerinin artarak devam edeceğini bildirdi.
Çipras ve Netanyahu’yu Kıbrıs sorunu konusundaki son gelişmeler hakkında bilgilendirdiğini dile getiren Rum lider, Rum kesiminin Kıbrıslı Türklerle görüşmelere başlamaya hazır olduğunu söyledi.
Rum lider, Doğu Akdeniz Doğalgaz Boru Hattı Projesi (East Med) konusunda üç ülke arasında iş birliğinin önemine değinerek, bunun hem ülkeleri hem de bölgenin refahı için hayati değere sahip olduğunu bildirdi.

Yunanistan Başbakanı Çipras da East Med projesinin gerek enerji gerekse jeopolitik açıdan çok önemli olduğunu vurgulayarak, bu konudaki anlaşmanın 2018 yılı içerisinde imzalanacağını açıkladı.
Kıbrıs meselesinin adil ve kalıcı bir çözüme ihtiyaç duyduğunu anlatan Çipras, Filistin meselesinin çözümünde ise Amerika’nın insiyatifinin çözüm için temel oluşturması ümidini dile getirdi.
Çipras, Türkiye ile ilişkilere değinerek, uluslararası anlaşmalar temelinde komşuların haklarına saygı gösterilmesi gerektiğini savundu.
İsrail Başbakanı Netanyahu’nun İran’ın balistik deneyimleri konusunda endişelerini aktardığını söyleyen Çipras, İran ile ilgili nükleer anlaşmasının iptalinin bölgede istikrarsızlığa yol açabileceğini kaydetti.
İsrail Başbakanı Benjamin Netanyahu da Yunanistan ve Güney Kıbrıs’a, İran’ın tehditlerine karşı İsrail’e destek olmaları çağrısında bulundu.
Netanyahu, İran’ın Akdeniz’e ulaşması halinde nükleer denizaltı altyapısı kuracağını iddia etti.
