Başbakanlık Başmüşaviri Gürsel Sönmez, “Yükselen Türkiye’nin her türlü yol ve yöntemle önünü kesmek isteyecekler. Doğrudan veya dolaylı yöntemle üstümüze gelecekler. Fakat Türkiye artık eski Türkiye değil.” dedi.
Türk İşbirliği ve Koordinasyon Ajansı Başkanlığı (TİKA) tarafından Koordinatörler Buluşması kapsamında “Güçlü Türkiye, Etkin Diplomasi-İşbirliği ve Fırsatlar” başlıklı panel düzenlendi.
Kurumun genel merkezinde yapılan panelin moderatörlüğünü Başbakanlık Başmüşaviri Sönmez yaptı. Sönmez, Berlin Duvarının 1989’da yıkılması ve 2001’de meydana gelen 11 Eylül saldırılarının, uluslararası ilişkilerde kırılma noktası olduğunu kaydetti.
Türkiye’nin de 2000’li yılların başından itibaren siyasi istikrarı yakalamasıyla yeni yüzyıla hızlı bir giriş yaptığını belirten Sönmez, “Hem yurt içinde hem yurt dışında epey bir mesafe aldık. Akraba topluluklarla gönül coğrafyamızdaki insanlarla dünyanın dört bucağıyla güzel ilişkilerin ortaya çıktığı, derinleştiği bir dönem yaşadık.” dedi.
Sönmez, bugün itibarıyla dünyaya bakıldığında bulanık bir tablonun görüldüğünü, 2017 yılının zorlu geçeceğini düşündüklerini kaydetti.
Türkiye’nin önünü kesmek için birçok girişimin olduğunu vurgulayan Sönmez, sözlerini şöyle sürdürdü:
“En son 15 Temmuz gibi küresel mahiyetli olduğunu düşündüğüm saldırıyla baş başa kaldık. Milletimin derin ferasetiyle bunu püskürttük. Yükselen Türkiye’nin her türlü yol ve yöntemle önünü kesmek isteyecekler. Doğrudan veya dolaylı yöntemle üstümüze gelecekler. Fakat Türkiye artık eski Türkiye değil.”
“Sabırlı olmamız lazım”
TİKA Başkanı Serdar Çam, panelde yaptığı konuşmada kurumun çalışmaları hakkında bilgi verdi. Türkiye’nin önüne çıkarılan engellere rağmen her geçen gün güçlendiğine dikkati çeken Çam, “Biz dayak yiye yiye büyümeye başlamışız, güçlenmişiz. Önümüz çok açık. Umutlu olmamız lazım. Hedeflerimize varabileceğimiz şekilde de bir kapasite oluşuyor. Bir telaş içindeyiz. Her şeyi yakalamaya, kaybettiğimiz zamanı yakalamaya çalışıyoruz. Sabırlı olmamamız lazım.” ifadesini kullandı.
Çam, TİKA’nın artık projelerde seçici davranmaya başlar noktaya geldiğini, dünyanın çeşitli noktalarında yaptıkları hizmetleri anlattı. Çalışmalarından örnekler sunan Çam, TİKA’nın bugün Sivas Kangal köpeklerinin, Namibya’da çiftlik hayvanlarını dünyanın en hızlı canlılarından olan çitalara karşı korumak için verdiği mücadeleye lojistik destek sunar hale geldiğini aktardı.
“Amacımız güçlü Türkiye imajının yerleşmesine katkı sunmak”
Vakıflar Genel Müdürü Adnan Ertem, TİKA gibi kurumların da artık yurt dışında görevler üstlenmeye başladığını dile getirdi.
İlk kez 2012 yılında Osmanlı hinterlandına yönelik çalışma başlattıkları bilgisini veren Ertem, bugüne kadar Bosna Hersek, Kosova, Makedonya ve Kıbrıs’ta envanter çalışmaları yaptıklarını kaydetti.
Ertem, bunun yanında yurt dışında restorasyon, yoksullara gıda yardımı ve maddi imkanları yetersiz olanlara sağlık yardımında da bulunduklarını ifade etti.
Ertem, “Bizim temel amacımız güçlü Türkiye imajının yerleşmesine katkı sunmak.” dedi.
” Türkiye dünyanın en cömert ülkesi”
Başbakanlık Afet ve Acil Durum Yönetimi Başkanlığı (AFAD) Başkan Yardımcısı Hamza Taşdelen de Türkiye’nin son yıllarda geçirdiği dönüşümden örnekler verdi.
Yardım alan bir ülke konumundan yardım eden ülke haline gelen Türkiye’nin bugün 5 kıtada birçok ülkeye destek olduğunu anlatan Taşdelen, AFAD olarak da bugüne kadar Libya, Filipinler, Japonya, Somali, Gazze ve Myanmar’daki Arakanlı Müslümanlara çeşitli yardımlarda bulundukları bilgisini verdi.
Taşdelen, Türkiye’nin sadece geçen yıl 3,2 milyar dolarlık yardım yaptığına dikkati çekerek, bunun dünyadaki yardım miktarının yüzde 11’ine tekabül ettiğini ifade etti. Taşdelen, miktar olarak ABD’nin gerisinde olsalar da bu rakamın gayrisafi milli hasılaya vurulduğunda Türkiye’nin dünyanın en cömert ülkesi olduğunun görüleceğini vurguladı.
Dışişleri Bakanlığı Diplomasi Akademisi Direktörü Doç. Dr. Mesut Özcan ise panelde 2017 yılında yaşanabilecek zorlukların Türkiye için bir dizi fırsat olabileceğine işaret etti.
