TBMM Başkanı Şentop, “100. yılını andığımız Gazi Meclisi’miz, Milli Mücadele’nin sonucu değil, bizzat merkezi ve karargahıdır.” dedi.
TBMM Genel Kurulu, Meclis Başkanı Mustafa Şentop başkanlığında, TBMM’nin açılışının 100. yılı ile 23 Nisan Ulusal Egemenlik ve Çocuk Bayramı dolayısıyla özel gündemle toplandı.
TBMM Başkanı Şentop, konuşmasanda, “100. yılını andığımız Gazi Meclisi’miz, Milli Mücadele’nin sonucu değil, bizzat merkezi ve karargahıdır.” dedi.
“Yüz yıl önce, cephedeki askerinin yarasına tentürdiyot bulamadığı için naftalin basan Türkiye, bugün küresel salgın karşısında çaresiz kalan devletlere tıbbi yardımda bulunmaktadır.” ifadelerini kullanan Şentop, “Yüz yıl önce ve tamamen tükendiği varsayılan bir dönemde azim ve kararlılığıyla ayağa kalkan, adeta küllerinden yeniden doğan Türkiye, bugün daha güçlü, daha coşkulu ve daha diridir.” şeklinde konuştu.
