Davutoğlu, Almanca yaptığı açıklamasında “Onlar sizin vatandaşlarınız bizimse misafirlerimizdi. Şimdi ise ebedi dostumuz oldular, ailelerine ve tüm Alman toplumuna yeniden başsağlığı diliyorum” dedi.
Merkel, Göçmen krizinin ikilinin yaptığı görüşmenin en önemli gündem maddesi olduğunu ifade etti. Çok sayıda ölümün yaşandığını belirten Merkel, sığınmacıları dağılımı konusunda eşitlik gözetilmesinin gerektiğini söyledi.
Davutoğlu ise açıklamada, Terör ile tek başına savaşılamayacağını belirtirken, terör saldırılarının sorumluları mutlaka yakalanacak. DAEŞ insanlığa yönelik bir tehdittir. Türkiye ve Almanya DAEŞ terörüne karşı birlikte hareket etmeye hazırdır. Almanya’ya verdiği destek için teşekkür ediyoruz” dedi.
Davutoğluö ayrıca, “Bugün çok önemli adım attık. Yeni bir döneme girdik. Hükümetler Arası İstişareler seviyesinde bir toplantı düzenledik. Gençlik köprüleri toplantıları var. İki ülke el ele vererek yürüyecek.Dünya ekonomisi sarsılırken, Alman ve Türk ekonomisi hem kendi hem de çevre ekonomilere katkı sağlıyor.
