Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Başbakanı Ahmet Davutoğlu, partisinin grup toplantısında yaptığı konuşmada, “Bayır Bucak bölgesinde tek bir DAEŞ unsuru yoktur, tek bir terör unsuru yoktur. Kimse Bayır Bucak bölgesine yapılan saldırıları DAEŞ ile meşru gösteremez. DAEŞ’e saldırıyoruz diye Bayır Bucak’ın masum insanlarına saldırılmasına da göz yummayız” ifadelerini kullandı.
Davutoğlu, “Bu olayda Rusya Federasyonu ile ipleri germek, gerilim yaşamak gibi bir niyetimiz yoktur, olamaz da. Rusya bizim dostumuzdur, komşumuzdur. Büyük devletler arasındaki ilişkiler, iletişim kazalarına feda edilemez. Rusya Federasyonu bizim çok önemli bir ortağımızdır ve son 13 yılda da ilişkilere en büyük hassasiyeti gösterdiğimiz ülkelerin başında gelmektedir”dedi.
Başbakan Davutoğlu, “Buradan tavsiyem muhalefet liderlerine; ya bu ülkenin hava sahasını, kara sınırlarını korumak konusunda ilkeli bir tutum ile hep birlikte beraber olalım ya da lütfen gölge etmeyin; gidin kendi kurultay oyunlarınızla uğraşın” şeklinde konuştu.
