Bulgaristan Meclisi, ana muhalefetteki Bulgaristan Sosyalist Partisi (BSP) İttifakı tarafından çevre ve su politikasında başarısızlık gerekçesiyle Boyko Borisov hükümetine karşı sunulan dördüncü gensoru önergesini reddetti.
Yapılan oylamada 102 milletvekili kabul oyu kullanırken 124’ü ret oyu kullandı, 9 milletvekili çekimser kaldı.
Oylama sırasında Meclis Genel Kurulu salonunda 235 milletvekili vardı. Gensoru önergesinin kabul edilmesi için 121 oy gerekliydi.
BSP İttifakı ve gensoru önergesini destekleyen Hak ve Özgürlükler Hareketi (HÖH) partisi toplam 104 milletvekiline sahiptir ve oylamaya hepsinin katılması durumunda 104 oy toplanması gerekir.
HÖH partisi, iktidardakilerin ülkede demokrasiye ve tüm Bulgaristan vatandaşlarının hayatı ve sağlığına zarar verdiğinden ikna olmasından dolayı sosyalistlerin gensoru önergesini destekleyeceğini açıkladı.
BSP İttifakı, yarım milyon vatandaşın su rejimi mağduru olup bu sayının artması yönünde ciddi bir risk olmasını gensoru önergesinin gerekçesi olarak gösterdi. BSP İttifakı Başkanı Korneliya Ninova, buna alternatif olarak yeşil ekonomi, yeşil şehirler ve kirli hava, atıklar ve Bulgaristan’da su kaynakları yönetimi sorununun çözümü olmak üzere üç alanın her birinde somut önlemler alınmasını önerdi.
