El-Cezire Televizyonu’nun eski Genel Müdürü ve Eş-Şark Forumu BaşkanıVaddah Hanfer, Fetullahçı Terör Örgütü’nün (FETÖ) cuma akşamı İstanbul ve Ankara’da gerçekleştirdiği başarısız darbe girişimiyle ilgili olarak AA muhabirine açıklamalarda bulundu.
“Bu büyüklükte bir darbe, Amerikalılara danışılmadan ya da onlara bilgi verilmeden gerçekleşemez. Türk ordusunun NATO’nun üyesi olduğunu ve ABD’nin İncirlik üssünde kuvvetleri olduğunu unutmamamız gerekiyor. Bu üsde bazı sorunlar olduğunu ve Türk subayların orada Amerikalı meslekdaşları olduğunu biliyoruz.” diyen Hanfer, “Amerikalıların Türkiye’deki askeri darbeyi önceden bildiklerini ancak kendilerini olayın dışında tuttuklarını düşünüyorum. ABD kendisine, darbe başarılı olursa bunu iyi bir şey olarak kabul etme başarısız olursa da tarafsız kalma şeklinde bir tutum belirledi.” ifadesini kullandı.
ABD Dışişleri Bakanı John Kerry’nin “Washington yönetiminin darbe ile ilişkisi olmadığı” yönünde açıklama yapmasının beklenen bir tavır olduğunu vurgulayan Hanfer, şunları söyledi:
“Kerry’nin darbenin yapıldığı ilk saatlerde yaptığı açıklama net değildi. Ancak sonradan ABD Devlet Başkanı ve diğerlerinden, Türkiye’deki meşru hükümetin desteklenmesi yönünde daha güçlü mesajlar geldi.”
Darbe başarılı olsaydı Avrupa’nın çıkarları bundan doğrudan etkilenirdi
“Darbe başarılı olsaydı hiç şüphesiz Avrupa’nın tavrı müsbet olurdu fakat Batılıların geneli ve komşu ülkelerin çoğu, Türk halkının darbeyi püskürttüğünü idrak edince kınama açıklamaları gelmeye başladı.” diyen Hanfer, “Batı bu tavrı takınmış olsaydı ilkesel olarak çıkarlarına aykırı düşmüş olurdu zira Türkiye’nin kaosa sürüklenmesi, ister mülteciler isterse terör ve diğer sorunlar olsun Avrupa’yı doğrudan etkilerdi.” yorumunda bulundu.
Darbe girişiminin Türkiye ve Ortadoğu’ya etkileri
Hanfer, darbe girişiminin, bölgede, ideolojinin, sınıfsal ve mezhepsel aidiyetlerin ötesinde toplumsal uzlaşı ve halk bilincine evrilen bir demokrasi tecrübesinin varlığını ortaya koyduğunu vurgulayarak, “Yaşananlar, hem Türkiye hem de Ortadoğu için tarihi bir dönüm noktasıdır. Bu, yeni Türkiye’nin doğuşunu hazırlayacak dönüm noktasıdır. Bugün yaşadıklarımız Türkiye’nin siyasi, dahili ve harici hayatında yeni bir aşamanın doğum sancılarıdır.” dedi.
Hanfer, Türk toplumunun, Erdoğan ve ekibinin yerleştirdiği demokrasinin, kendisine ekonomik refah ve siyasi istikrarın yanı sıra devletin insanların hasmı olduğu eski darbeler döneminin aksine devletin gücünden faydalanılan yeni bir hayat tarzı getirdiğini idrak ettiğine vurgu yaptı. Demokrasinin insan hayatıyla yakından ilişkili ve hayatın ayrılmaz bir parçası olduğunu kaydeden Hanfer, Türk toplumunun bunun farkına vardığını ve bu durumun bölgedeki insanlar için çok önemli bir unsur olduğunu dile getirdi.

Arap dünyasının bu darbeden çıkarması gereken dersler olduğunu dile getiren Hanfer, şunları söyledi:
“Halklar, Türkiye’de yaşananlardan ilham almalı, dünyanın en önemli ordularından biri olan Türk ordusu karşısında demokrasiyi savunanın, demokrasinin toplumun her kesimine hizmet ettiğinin bilincine ve olgunluğuna varan Türk halkı olduğunu bilmelidir. Demokrasi konusunda toplumda oluşan bu anlayış çıkarmamız gereken en önemli derstir.”
