Türk İşbirliği ve Koordinasyon Ajansı Başkanlığı (TİKA) tarafından Makedonya’da modernize edilen Çocuk Hastalıkları Kliniği, Balkanlara şifa dağıtıyor.
Makedonya’da adeta yeniden inşa edilen Üsküp Devlet Hastanesi Aziz Kiril ve Metodiy Üniversitesi Klinik Merkezi’ne bağlı Çocuk Hastalıkları Kliniğinin, yılda 40 bin çocuğa şifa olduğu belirtildi. Kliniğin bağlı bulunduğu Üsküp Devlet Hastanesi’nin Müdürü Rıdvan İbrahimi, TİKA’nın desteği sayesinde hastanenin kapasitesi artırıldığını ve her ay 3 bin çocuğa hizmet verebilecek duruma geldiğini söyledi.
Kliniğin yapımı için toplanan paranın yetersiz kaldığına işaret eden İbrahimi, “TİKA ‘hepsini kendimiz yapacağız’ dedi. Türkiye daha önceden burada yoktu. Amerika, Almanya vardı. Türkiye’deki büyüme buradaki herkesi etkiledi. TİKA’nın somut projeleri ile her kesimin Türkiye’ye olan güveni artıyor. TİKA’nın desteği sayesinde hastanenin kapasitesi artırıldı. Artık her ay sadece Makedonya’da değil tüm Balkanlarda 3 binin üzerinde çocuğa tedavi verecek duruma geldik” şeklinde konuştu.
“Sırada yoğun bakım ve nöroloji var” TİKA’nın tüm tadilat ve donanımını üstlendiği çocuk kliniğine benzer şekilde aynı hastanenin nöroloji ve yoğun bakım ünitelerini de modernize edeceği belirtildi. Hastane Müdürü İbrahimi, Makedonya’da halkın yüzde 80’inin kamudan sağlık hizmeti aldığını ifade ederek, “Devletimiz geçiş dönemi yaşarken TİKA’nın böyle bir kliniği kamuya kazandırması özel sektörün de dikkatini çekti. En önemlisi ise TİKA hastanede bir sistemin oluşmasını sağlayarak kaosun önüne geçti. Talebimiz hızlı bir şekilde profesyonelce gerçekleştirildi. TİKA kaliteli bir iş çıkardı. Ayrıca TİKA şimdi yoğun bakım ünitesinin tadilatını yapıyor. Ardından nöroloji bölümünün tadilatını da yapacak” dedi.
