Aziz İsmail Endonezya’ya gitme hakkını TİME BALKAN’a şöyle değerlendirdi: “Uzun bir maratondu. Bütün 2015 yılı boyunca toplanan puanlar ve alınan başarılar doğrultusunda en yakın rakibim ve geçen yılın Avrupa İkincisi Petar Zaborski önünde sıralamayı 50 puan önde bitirdim ve bu hakkı elde ettim. Hırvatistan Açık’taki gümüş madalya , Gençler Dünya Kupasında kazandığım bronz madalya ve Güçlü Almanya Premier Liginde kazandığım 5.lik beni Makedonya’da 6.kez zirveye taşıdı. Bütün yıl boyunca Dünya Şampiyonası için hazırlandım ve hakkımı da aldım.”
Final için altı maç kazanmam gerekir, zayıf rakip yok
Dünya Şampiyonmasında Makedonya Milli Takımını 12-13 kişi temsil edecek. Aziz Endonezya’daki hedefinin ilk üçte yer almaktan olduğunu belirterek “Kategorimde ortalama 65 kişinin olması bekleniyor, çok zor olacağına hiç şüphem yok, fakat bu yılki başarılarımı göz önünde bulundurursak güzel maçlar ve Allah nasip ederse madalya kazanmak istiyorum”, dedi.
Günde iki antreman (sabah-akşam), sağlıklı ve düzenli beslenme ile formunu iyi koruduğunu düşünen Aziz İsmail, “şu anda hız, kondisyon ve psikolojik çalışmalara başladım. Finale gelmek için 6 maç kazanmak gerek. Doğal olarak psiholijik ve kondisyon açısından çok çok hazırlıklı olmalısın şu an onun üzerine çalışıyorum”, şeklinde konuştu.
Dünya Şampiyonasında zayıf rakibin olmadığını ifade ederek Aziz İsmail, “her ülkenin en iyileri kozlarını paylaşacağını ve daha önce yarıştığım rakiplerimle tekrar yarışma fırsatı yakalayacağını kaydetti.
En büyük desteği ailesinin verdiğini vurgulayan Aziz, “Kulübüm Metalurg’ta tüm imkanlarını zorluyor ve yardımda bulunuyor, ancak Karate Federasyonun’dan maalesef hicbir destek yok”, dedi.
