İnsan Hak ve Hürriyetleri (İHH) İnsani Yardım Vakfı Kilis Koordinasyon Merkezi tarafından ramazanda sınırın diğer tarafında barınan Suriyelilere günlük 65 bin kişilik sıcak yemek ve 120 bin ekmek gönderiliyor.
İHH, Suriye’de olayların ilk başladığı günden bu yana kurduğu aşevleriyle Suriyeli sığınmacıların yemek ihtiyaçlarını karşılamanın gayreti içerisinde çalışmalarını sürdürüyor.
Vakfın Kilis’te kurulan ana mutfağının yanı sıra Suriye’nin Azez ilçesinde konuşlandırılan mobil mutfaklar da ramazan dolayısıyla tam kapasite çalıştırılıyor.
Hayırseverlerin desteğiyle temin edilen ve lojistik depoda bulundurulan malzemeleri sabahın erken saatlerinde alan ve mutfağa getiren çalışanlar, oruçlu olmalarına ve zaman zaman 50 dereceyi bulan sıcaklığa aldırmadan iftar öncesinde sıcak yemek ve ekmek yaparak ihtiyaç sahiplerine ulaştırıyor.
Merkezin Aşevi Sorumlusu Hikmet Şölen, Suriye tarafında kurulan kamplarda yaklaşık 80 bin Suriyelinin ağırlandığını belirterek, sınırın Suriye tarafında ve Türkiye’de hazırlanan 65 bin kişilik yemekle 120 bin ekmeğin bölgeye her gün düzenli olarak ulaştırıldığını söyledi.
Ramazan dolayısıyla aşevi ve fırının tam kapasite çalıştığını aktaran Şölen, şunları kaydetti:
“İHH İnsani Yardım Vakfı olarak yardım çalışmalarına hızla devam etmekteyiz. Ramazan dolayısıyla Suriye’deki mobil aşevlerini de devreye geçirdik. Bu kapsamda günlük 65 bin kişiye sıcak yemek ulaştırıyoruz. Buradaki aşevini Halep’in yoğun bombardıman altında olduğu zamanda devreye soktuk ve 35 bin kişilik yemek üretiyoruz. Aynı zamanda Suriye’de de 30 bin kişilik yemek çıkartıyoruz. Toplamda 65 bin kişiye tekabül ediyor. Kilis’teki aşevinde 30, Suriye tarafındaki mobil mutfakta da 25 kişi çalışıyor. Üretilen yemeklerin 4 ayrı noktada dağıtımlarını yapıyoruz. Saat 14’ten sonra dağıtımlara başlıyor iftardan önce ihtiyaç sahiplerine ulaştırmış oluyoruz.”
