Türk İşbirliği ve Koordinasyon Ajansı Başkanlığı (TİKA) Kosova’da halkın büyük çoğunluğunun geçimini tarımdan sağladığı tek Türk Belediyesi olan Mamuşa’da tarım desteğinde bulundu.
Türklerin çoğunlukta olduğu ve Türklerin yönettiği, Kosava’daki tek Türk Belediyesi olan Mamuşa, Kosova’da seracılık faaliyetinin en yoğun olarak gerçekleştirildiği bölge. Bölgede yaklaşık 300 hektarlık kapalı alanda sebze üretimi yapılmakta ve halkın %80’i geçimini tarımdan sağlıyor.
Proje kapsamında Kosova’nın en önemli sebze üretici konumunda bulunan Mamuşa Belediyesinde kapalı alanda sebze üretiminin ve kalitenin artırılması, merkezi sulama şebekesi bulunmayan belediyede damla sulama sistemi ile su tasarrufunun sağlanması, sulama için kullanılacak olan suyun filtreden geçirilerek kaliteli sulamanın gerçekleştirilmesi, hastalık ve zararlılara karşı bilinçli ilaçlamanın gerçekleştirilmesi noktasında geçimlerini seracılık sektöründen sağlayan toplamda 40 çiftçiye 40 adet su pompası makinesi, 40 adet sırt ilaçlama makinesi, 40 adet su filtresi ve 96000 metre damla sulama hortumu temin edildi. Projeyle Mamuşa tarımında sulama ve ilaçlama konusunda kapasitelerinin artırılarak, uzun vadeli ve topraklara zarar vermeyecek şekilde modern cihazlar kullanılarak tarımcıların üretimlerini daha kaliteli ve düşük maliyetle gerçekleştirmeleri sağlandı.
Törende Akasya Tarımcılık Derneği Başkanı Fatih Mazrek, Mamuşa Belediye Başkanı Arif Bütüç, ve TİKA Kosova Koordinatörü Eyüp Yavuz Ümütlü konuşma gerçekleştirdi.
Açılış konuşmasını gerçekleştiren Akasya Tarımcılık Derneği Başkanı Fatih Mazrek çiftçiler için projenin önemine değinerek TİKA’ya teşekkür etti. Mamuşa Belediye Başkanı Arif Bütüç konuşmasında TİKA’nın Kosova’da büyük işler yaptığını ve Kosova’nın tamamına destek sunduğunu vurguladı. Ayrıca Mamuşa ‘da daha önceleri TİKA’nın su deposunu yaptığını, yeni bir okul yaptığını ve 50 tarımcıya sera naylon dağıtımında bulunduğunu hatırlattı. TİKA Kosova Ofisi Koordinatörü Eyüp Yavuz Ümütlü de Mamuşa’nın tarım konusunda önemli bir Belediye olduğunu, TİKA’nın tüm Kosova’da ve Mamuşa’da tarıma olan desteğinin süreceğini dile getirdi.
Programın sonunda 40 çiftçiye makine ve diğer malzemeler dağıtıldı.
