Diyanet İşleri Başkan Yardımcısı Burhan İşliyen, Türkiye Diyanet Vakfı (TDV) tarafından Makedonya’nın başkenti Üsküp’teki Tophane bölgesinde inşa edilen Merkez Camisi’ni ziyaret etti.
Ziyaretinde Türkiye’nin Üsküp Büyükelçiliği Din Hizmetleri Müşaviri Murat Alkan’ın eşlik ettiği İşliyen ve beraberindeki heyet, TDV, Türkiye Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı ve Vakfın kuruluşu Komaş AŞ denetiminde başkent Üsküp’te devam eden cami inşaatında incelemelerde bulundu.
Cami inşaatıyla ilgili yetkililerden bilgi alan ve çalışanlarla da bir süre sohbet eden İşliyen, basın mensuplarına yaptığı açıklamada, Makedonya ziyaretini, hem bu camide denetim ve incelemelerde bulunmak hem de Makedonya İslam Birliği, Türkiye Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı ve Türk halkının ilişkilerini güçlendirmek adına yaptıklarını ifade etti.
Caminin, İstanbul Edirnekapı Mihrimah Sultan Camisi’nin bir benzeri olduğunu söyleyen İşliyen, “Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığımız, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Devleti, özellikle sayın Cumhurbaşkanımızın teşvik, talimat ve ön açmalarıyla ata yadigarı Balkan ülkelerimizde böyle sembol olabilecek, sembol diye değerlendirilebilecek güzel caminin yapımını önemsiyor.” diye konuştu.
Camide toplamda 3 bin 500 kişinin namaz kılabileceğini dile getiren İşliyen, camilerin, sadece ibadet yapılan mekanlar olmanın yanında, çocukların buluşma mekanı olması, okuması, öğrenmesi, kendilerini geliştirmesi ve sosyalleşmesine katkı sağlamasını hedeflediğini vurguladı.
Din Hizmetleri Müşaviri Murat Alkan ise cami külliyesi bünyesinde zemin katta kapalı otopark, morg, gasilhane gibi hizmetlerin bulunacağını belirterek, “Onun üzerinde Kuran kursu sınıfları, seminer salonları ve bir konferans salonu, fuaye alanı. Ayrıca hanımlar için abdesthaneler ve özel okuma salonları mevcut olacak. Bir üst katta da bu caminin ihtiyaçlarını görmek adına ticari mekanlar olacak ki burada ısınma, elektrik gibi giderlerin herhangi bir yükü olmaksızın cami kendi kendini çevirebilsin ümidiyle, düşüncesiyle inşa edilmiş, o projeye dahil edilmiş ticari mekanlar da var.” şeklinde konuştu.
Cami inşaatının 2017’nin ağustos ayında başladığı bilgisini veren Alkan, halihazırda caminin kaba inşaatının neredeyse yüzde 50-60’ının tamamlandığını sözlerine ekledi.
Caminin, 2020’nin ramazan ayında hizmete açılması bekleniyor.
