Bursa Ergin Ağaç Lisesi öğrencileri, Bulgaristan’da Türkçenin seçmeli ders olduğunu, ama Türkçe kitap bulunmadığını öğrenince harekete geçti.
Düzenledikleri kampanyada binlerce kitap toplayan öğrenciler, Varna’da kütüphane kuracak. Okul Müdürü Tamer Saylem, “Bu kampanyanın başlangıcı benim bir Bulgaristan göçmeniyle karşılaşmamla başladı. Bulgaristan’da Türkçenin seçmeli ders olduğunu, ancak Türkçe kitap bulunmadığını söyledi. Bulgaristan’da Türkçeyi seçmeli ders olarak tercih eden öğrencilerin okuyacak Türkçe kitap bulamamasına üzüldüm. Bunun üzerine okulumuzda kampanya başlattım. Düzenlediğimiz kitap kampanyası ile Bulgaristan’ın Varna şehrine bir kütüphane kuruyoruz. Oradaki seçmeli Türkçe dersi için kitaplarımızın faydalı olacağını ümit ediyoruz” dedi.
Saylem, “Bulgaristan’da ortaokul ve liselerde Türkçe seçmeli ders olarak okunabiliyor. Yaklaşık bin 200 kitabımızı Bulgaristan’a göndereceğiz. Bulgaristan’da Türkçe seçmeli ders, ama orada komünizmden kalan bir anlayışla kitabevi yok. Orada bütün kitapları devlet dağıtıyor. Orada herkes kitaplarını kütüphane vasıtasıyla temin ediyor. Biz orada kütüphane kurmak istiyoruz. Bundan sonra her yıl Bulgaristan’a birer tane kütüphane yapmaya devam edeceğiz. Yunanistan ve Makodenya’ya da birer Türkçe kitap kütüphanesi kurmayı düşünüyoruz” dedi.
