Yunanistan’ın başkenti Atina’da öğretmen ve öğrenciler, yeni tip koronavirüs (kovid-19) tedbirleri kapsamında eğitim sisteminde yapılan değişiklikleri protesto etti.
Sınıflara kamera yerleştirilip uzaktan canlı eğitim yapılmasını öngören yasa tasarısını protesto eden yaklaşık 2 bin öğretmen ve öğrenci, söz konusu uygulamanın kişisel özgürlüklerin ihlali olduğunu savundu.
”Sınıflarımızı biri bizi gözetliyor evine çevirmeyin”, ”utanç yasasını geri alın” şeklinde sloganlar atarak parlamento binasına yürüyen göstericiler meçhul asker anıtına yaklaşınca, polisle kısa süreliğine gerginlik yaşandı.
Yaklaşık 3 saat süren gösteri sırasında kent merkezinde yolların kapanması sonucu trafikte yoğunluk meydana geldi.
Yunanistan Eğitim Bakanı Kerameos: ” Geri adım atmıyoruz”
Yunanistan Eğitim Bakanı Niki Kerameos, söz konusu yasa tasarısı ile ilgili mecliste yaptığı konuşmasında geri adım atmayacaklarını söyledi.
Kişisel Verileri Koruma Birimine göre uygulamanın kişisel özgürlükleri ihlal etmediğini belirten Kerameos, ”Geri adım atmıyoruz. Doğru olanı yapıyoruz. Devlet, koronavirüsten dolayı evde kalmaları gereken bazı çocukların eğitime katılımını sağlamakla yükümlüdür.” ifadesini kullandı.
