Yunanistan Dışişleri Bakanlığı, Cumhurbaşkanı Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’ın Lozan Anlaşması’yla ilgili açıklamalarının kabul edilemez olduğunu açıkladı.
Yunanistan Dışişleri Bakanlığı, Cumhurbaşkanı Recep Tayip Erdoğan’ın Lozan Anlaşması ile ilgili Salı günü yaptığı açıklamalara yanıt verdi. Bakanlık Sözcüsü Stratos Efthimiou, açıklamaların “kabul edilemez” olduğunu belirtti. Yunan gazetecilerin konuyla ilgili sorularını yanıtlayan Efthimiou, “Türk yönetimi tarafından tekrarlanan revizyonizme karşı Yunanistan uluslararası yasallığın, barışın ve istikrarın korunmasına canla başla bağlılığını koymaktadır. Lozan Antlaşması’nın sorgulanmasına yönelik açıklamalar kabul edilemez” dedi.
Türkiye Cumhurbaşkanı Erdoğan, Beştepe Millet Kongre ve Kültür Merkezi’nde düzenlenen Polis Akademisi “Türkiye’nin Yeni Güvenlik Konsepti Konferansı”nda yaptığı konuşmada Lozan’ın tartışılamaz kutsal bir metin olmadığını söyleyerek, “Elbette tartışacağız, daha iyisine ulaşmanın çabası içinde olacağız. 1. Dünya Savaşı ve 2. Dünya Savaşı geride kaldı, soğuk savaş geride kaldı. Soğuk savaş sonrası oluşan dengeler birer birer yıkılıyor. Buna rağmen bizi hala Lozan’a hapsetmeye çalışıyorlar” demişti.
