Görüşmenin ayrıntılarını basın mensuplarıyla paylaşan Başbakan Ramush Haradinaj, “Başbakan Merkel ile Kosova’yı yakından ilgilendiren konuları görüştük. Kosova diyalogdan yanadır. Gümrük vergisi kaldırılmayacak. Bu konuyu da görüştük. Ancak, kaldırılmasına yönelik bir talep gelmedi. Diyaloğun nihai aşaması, mevcut sınırlara dokunulmadan karşılıklı tanıma ile sonuçlanmalı. Bununla birlikte, Kosova’yı tanımayan AB beş üye ülkesinden de tanıma bekliyoruz” dedi.
Merkel ile vize muafiyeti konusunu da görüştüklerini belirten Başbakan Haradinaj, Kosova gündeminin öne alınmasınnı talep ettiğini söyledi. Başbakan, Kosova’nın avrupa Konseyi gündemine alınması için yoğun çalışmaların yapılması gereğine de dikkat çekti.
