Mayıs ayında Makedonya’yı 60 binden fazla turist ziyaret etti. Turistlerin en büyük kısmı 22.793 turist Türkiye’den gelirken, Sırbistan’dan 4.092 Bulgaristan’dan ise toplam 3.589 turist geldi.
Devlet İstatistik Kurumu’nun verilerine göre Mayıs ayında Makedonya’yı ziyaret eden yabancı turist sayısında yüzde 5.1 oranında artış kaydedildi.
Mayıs ayında Makedonya’yı toplamda 86.234 geldi. Turistler en çok Üsküp’ü ve Ohri Gölü’nü ziyaret ettiler.
Devlet İstatistik Kurumu verilerine göre geçen yıla kıyasen bu yılın ilk beş ayında turist sayısı 11.1 oranında arttı. Yerli turistlerde oran yüzde 12,5 artarken, yabancı tursitlerde ise yüzde 10,4’lük artış belirlendi.
