Eğitim Sendikaları Birliği Başkanı Rrahman Jasharaj, başta maaşlara zam nedeniyle Hükümetin eğitimcilerin taleplerini karşılamamasından dolayı tekrardan grev kararı alındığını söyledi. Jasharaj grevin, talepleri karşılanana kadar süreceğini söyledi.
Maaşlar Yasa Tasarısında, kreşlerden başlayarak Üniversite eğitimine kadar eğitim çalışanlarının maaş katsayısının belirlenmesini istediklerini belirten Jasharaj, Hükümet yetkililerinin maaşlarının öğretmenlerden daha yüksek olması nedeniyle tepkilerinin makul olduğunu kaydetti.
