Yunanistan’a aralarında çocuklu bir ailenin de olduğu beş Türk vatandaşı daha Meriç nehri üzerinden Yunanistan’a geçerek sığınma istedi.
Meriç Nehri yakınlarındaki Yunanistan’ın Orestiada kasabasına, 5 Türk vatandaşının yasa dışı yollarla girdiği öğrenildi.
Yunan Kamu Güvenliği Bakanlığından edinilen bilgiye göre, perşembe günü kasabaya ulaşan beş kişi arasında tek çocuklu bir çift ve iki erkek bulunuyor.
Orestiada polis merkezinde gözaltında tutulan söz konusu kişilerin, sığınma talebinde bulunmak istedikleri bildirildi.
Ayrıca, Türk vatandaşlarının yanlarında getirdikleri çantalarda yüklü miktarda para ve ziynet eşyası bulunduğu belirtildi.
Söz konusu kişilerin Fetullahçı Terör Örgütü (FETÖ) mensubu oldukları tahmin ediliyor.
FETÖ darbe girişimi sonrası Yunanistan’a kaçarak sığınma talebinde bulunan darbeci 8 askerin yanı sıra toplam 23 Türk vatandaşı komşu ülkeye yasa dışı yollarla geçti.
