Dışişleri Bakanlığı, son zamanlarda kadınlara diplomasi alanında birçok önemli görev verirken özellikle büyükelçilik düzeyinde görev yapan kadınların sayısı 51’i buldu. Bakanlık kaynaklarından edinilen bilgiye göre, 255 büyükelçiliğiyle dünyada en yaygın diplomatik ağa sahip ülkelerden biri konumundaki Türkiye’yi 51 ülkede kadın büyükelçiler temsil ediyor. Güvenlik ve İstihbarat Genel Müdür Yardımcısı Aylin Sekizkök, Dışişleri Bakanlığı’nda artan kadın personel ve diplomat sayısı ile ilgili AA muhabirine açıklama yaptı. ( Erçin Top – Anadolu Ajansı )
Aylin Sekizkök, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Sofya Büyükelçiliği’ne atandı.
Türkiye Dışişleri Bakanlığı tarafından bazı ülkelere büyükelçilerin ve uluslararası kuruluşlar nezdinde daimi temsilcilerin atamalarına ilişkin Büyükelçileri Kararnamesi yayınlandı.
Türkiye’nin Bulgaristan Büyükelçisi Hasan Ulusoy Brüksel Büyükelçisi görevine atandı.
Aylin Sekizkök, Türkiye’nin Milano Başkonsolosu ve T.C . Dışişleri Bakanlığı Güvenlik ve İstihbarat Genel Müdür Yardımcısı görevlerinde bulundu.
Aylin Sekizkök’ün eşi Hasan Sekizkök Üsküp Büyükelçisi görevine atandı.
