İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi (İBB) Caz Grubu, Arnavutluk’ta düzenlenen 7. Uluslararası Caz Festivali’nde sahne aldı.
Arnavutluk Kültür Bakanlığı ve bazı yerel kurumlar ile farklı ülkelerin büyükelçiliklerinin iş birliğinde düzenlenen festivalde bugün, Yunus Emre Enstitüsü Tiran Türk Kültür Merkezi’nin katkılarıyla sahne alan Mehmet Çelik ve Atilla Altunkeser’in konserine, ülkedeki Türk kurum ve kuruluşlarının temsilcileri ile çok sayıda vatandaş katıldı.
İBB Orkestralar Müdürü Celal Sevencan, AA muhabirine yaptığı açıklamada, caz festivali ve diğer tüm festivalleri, ülkeler arasında iş birliği fırsatı olarak gördüklerini söyledi.
Ülkelerin birbirlerini en güzel ve en kolay tanıyabileceği kültürel faaliyetlerin başında müzikal faaliyetlerin geldiğini dile getiren Sevencan, “Müzik, dünyanın ortak dili olarak kabul edildiğine göre en etkili kültürel iletişim aracı olarak görüyoruz. Türkiye ve Arnavut kültürü, bugünümüze bağlı kültürel iş birliği değildir, tarihin çok eski dönemlerinden, Osmanlı döneminden bu yana iki ülke arasında gelmiş geçmiş bir kültür alışverişi söz konusudur. Genç kuşaklara düşen görev de bu kültürel ilişkileri daha da ileri taşıyarak müzikle birlikte bunu en uç noktalara, halkımızın tümüne yayabilmek.” diye konuştu.
