Resmi temaslarda bulunmak üzere Sırbistan’da bulunan Cumhurbaşkanı Erdoğan’a eşlik eden eşi Emine Erdoğan, Sokullu Mehmet Paşa tarafından yaptırılan ve TİKA tarafından restore edilen 441 yıllık çeşmenin açılışına katıldı.
Ayrıca Emine Erdoğan, Kalemeydan’da, Sırbistan’ın ilk kadın mimarı Jelisaveta Nacic tarafından 1903 yılında inşa edilen ve yine TİKA tarafından restore edilen Küçük Merdivenler hakkında da bilgi aldı.
Türk Haftası Programı’nda sergilenen Göbeklitepe Fotoğraf Sergisi’ni gezen Emine Erdoğan, 1948’de kurulan bitkisel çay ve kremler üreten Bitkisel İlaçlar Enstitüsünde çalışmalarla ilgili bilgilendirildi.
Programlarda Emine Erdoğan’a, Sırbistan Cumhurbaşkanı Aleksandr Vucic’in eşi Tamara Vucic, Kültür ve Turizm Bakan Yardımcısı Serdar Çam, Türk İşbirliği ve Koordinasyon Ajansı Başkan Vekili Serkan Kayalar ve Yunus Emre Enstitüsü Başkanı Prof. Dr. Şeref Ateş de eşlik etti.
