Bosna’daki savaşta Sırp askerler tarafından temellerine kadar yıkılan ve Vakıflar Genel Müdürlüğünün desteğiyle yeniden inşa edilen Alaca Cami düzenlenecek törenle yarın ibadete açılacak.
Bosna Hersek’in doğusundaki Foça şehrinde, Mimar Sinan’ın yakın çalışma arkadaşı olan Hasan Nezir tarafından 1549’da inşa edilen ve “Bosna’nın İncisi” olarak da nitelendirilen caminin açılışı için hazırlıklar tamamlandı.
İsmini içinde ve dışındaki renkli kalem işlerinden alan yaklaşık beş asırlık caminin yeniden ibadete açılması dolayısıyla düzenlenecek törene Kültür ve Turizm Bakanı Mehmet Nuri Ersoy ile Vakıflar Genel Müdürü Adnan Ertem’in de katılması bekleniyor.
Yeniden inşası beş yıl sürdü
Bosna Hersek’teki klasik Osmanlı mimarisi ile yapılan ilk camilerden olan Alaca Cami, Bosna’daki savaşın başladığı 1992 yılında Sırplar tarafından dinamitlenerek temellerine kadar yıkıldı.
Caminin taşları bugünkü yerinden yüzlerce metre uzakta iki farklı noktada gömülü olarak bulundu. Caminin yıkılması ve tüm kalıntılarının kasten saklanması, Sırpların bölgedeki Müslüman izlerini tamamen silmeye çalıştığının en büyük göstergelerinden biri kabul ediliyor.
Vakıflar Genel Müdürlüğünün desteğiyle Alaca Cami’nin yeniden inşasına 2014 yılında başlandı.
Bu arada, savaşa kadar Foça’da 12 cami varken, bunların tamamı savaş yıllarında Sırplar tarafından yıkıldı. Alaca Cami’nin yanı sıra bugüne kadar Atik Ali Paşa ve Hünkar camileri de yeniden inşa edilip ibadete açıldı.
