Mısır’da seçilmiş Cumhurbaşkanı Muhammed Mursi’nin, 3 Temmuz 2013’te askeri darbeyle görevden alınmasının ardından ilk kez yapılan parlamento seçimlerine düşük katılım gösteren halk, yeni meclisin kendilerini temsil etmeyeceği düşüncesiyle sandık başına gitmiyor.
Başkent Kahire’de yaşayan 40 yaşındaki Muhammed Eymen, neden oy kullanmadığına dair AA muhabirine yaptığı açıklamada, “Şahsi olarak ya da parlamento düzeyinde beni temsil edecek bir aday bulunduğu konusunda ikna olmuş değilim” dedi.
Aynı görüşü paylaşan İskenderiye’nin Miyami kentinde yaşayan Abdulhay el-Fehrani de verdikleri oyun hiçbir anlam ifade etmediğini “darbe” tecrübesiyle gördüklerini belirterek, “3 Temmuz’daki askeri darbenin ardından bir daha hiçbir seçimde oy kullanmama kararı aldım. Mısırlılar olarak verdiğimiz oyun bir değeri olmadığını gördük. Oy kullansak, sandık başındaki kuyruklarda saatlerce beklesek bile kendi istedikleri sonuç için yine sokaklarda tankları göreceğiz” diye konuştu.
“Seçimlerin yapılmasıyla yapılmaması arasında bir fark yok” diyen esnaf Ala Halfallah da “Seçimleri boykot ederek oy kullanmıyorum ve sonuçları da beni çok ilgilendirmiyor” şeklinde konuştu.
25 Ocak devriminin etkin ismi 6 Nisan Hareketi’nden seçime boykot
Öte yandan Mısır’da Cumhurbaşkanı Hüsnü Mübarek’in devrilmesiyle sonuçlanan 25 Ocak 2011 devriminin gerçekleşmesinde etkin rol oynayan gençlik hareketlerinden 6 Nisan Hareketi de yönetimi protesto ederek seçime katılmıyor.
Darbenin ardından birçok siyasetçinin gözaltına alınması ve tutuklanmasına tepki gösteren hareket mensupları sandık başına gitmiyor. Sosyal paylaşım sitelerinde siyasi nedenlerle tutuklanan gençlerin isimlerini paylaşarak altına aday olarak onları seçtiklerini yazıyor.
“Gençler, ikna edilemedi”
Seçimlerde Muharrem Bek bölgesinden milletvekilli adayı olan Heysem el-Hariri ise seçime katılımın düşük olmasının nedenini, “Gençlerin seçimin kazanımları konusunda ikna edilememesi” şeklinde değerlendirdi. Hariri, “Bu durum, seçim konusunda Mısır sokaklarında ciddi bir kriz olduğunu ortaya koyuyor” ifadelerini kullandı.
Bir başka aday Ahmed Selame de “Hükümet ve adaylar, vatandaşları oy kullanmaya ikna etme konusunda başarısız oldu. Özellikle gençler oy kullanmıyor, sandık başında yaşlılar görülüyor” diye konuştu.
Mısır’da 3 Temmuz 2013 tarihindeki askeri darbenin ardından ilan edilen “Yol Haritası”nın üçüncü aşamasını oluşturan ve dün başlayan parlamento seçimlerinin ilk turu kapsamında seçmenler 27 vilayetin, 14’ünde sandık başına gidiyor.
Seçimleri Müslüman Kardeşler’in siyasi kanadı Hürriyet ve Adalet Partisi (HAP), Devrimci Sosyalistler, Muhammed el-Baradey tarafından kurulan Dustur Partisi, Eymen Nur liderliğindeki Devrimin Yarını Partisi gibi siyasi akımlar boykot ediyor. Eski Arap Birliği Genel Sekreteri Amr Musa liderliğindeki Kongre Partisi’nin ise boykot ettiğini duyurmamasına rağmen seçimlere katılmaması dikkati çekiyor.
Ülkenin tarihi partilerinden Vefd ve Selefi hareketin siyasi kanadı Nur Partisi ile “Mısır Sevgisi İçin Koalisyonu” seçimlere katılan iki önemli siyasi akımı oluşturuyor. Bugün ilk turu sona erecek olan seçimin ikinci turu, 22-23 Kasım tarihlerinde gerçekleştirilecek.
