22 ülkeden 305 derginin katıldığı 7. Uluslararası Dergi Fuarı’nın ilk gününde Balkan dergiciliği paneli düzenlendi. Panelin moderatörlüğünü Türkiye Dergiler Birliği Başkanı Asım Gültekin yaptı. Makedonya’dan “Köprü” Dergisi Genel Yayın Yönetmeni Leyla Şerif Emin, “Shenja” Dergisi Baş Editörü Latif Mustafa, Bosna Hersek’ten “Başka” Dergisi Genel Yayın Yönetmeni Enes Güler, “Elif” Dergisi Genel Yayın Yönetmeni Malika Neziroviç, Yunanistan’dan “Fiyaka” Dergisi Genel Yayın Yönetmeni Hüseyin Mehmet, Preşevo bölgesinden “Freskija” Dergisi Editörü Dugajgın Hasani, Karadağ’dan “Avliya” Dergisi Editörü Safet Adroviç, “Lemba” Dergisi Genel Yayın Yönetmeni Sabina Osmani kendi dergileri ve genelde Balkan dergiciliği hakkında konuşma yaptı.
Panelde, Balkanlarda dergi çıkarmanın zorlukları, bu zorluklara karşı alınan önlemler ve Balkanlarda dergicilikle ilgili neler yapılabilir sorularının yanıtı arandı. TÜRDEB Başkanı Asım Gültekin “Balkanlarda çıkan dergileri bizim oradaki uç beylerimiz olarak görüyoruz ve bu bize bir heyecan veriyor, buralarda çıkmakta olan dergilerden farklı olarak orda çıkanın daha zor şartlarda çıkıyor olduğunu hissediyoruz” dedi ve sözü Balkanlardan gelen dergi temsilcilerine bıraktı.

Sirkeci garının çok önemli bir yer olduğunu ifade eden Köprü Dergisi Genel Yayın Yönetmeni Leyla Şerif Emin, “50-60 yıl önce Sirkeci garı Balkan insanı için hep bir göç ve hüznün son adresi olarak bilinirdi. Sirkeci garı bir veda yeriydi fakat biz bugün bunu bir vefaya dönüştürdük. Biz bugün buraya bavul ve sandıklarla değil dergilerle geldik” dedi. Osmanlı’dan sonra Balkanlardaki dergi serüvenini ve Köprü dergisinin ortaya çıkışını anlatan Leyla Şerif Emin, “Balkan dergiciliğinin daha ileri seviyeye yükselmesi için bizim yeniden birbirimizle tanışmamız gerek” diyerek sözlerine son verdi.
Balkan dergileri temsilcileri Balkan edebiyatının ve dergiciliğinin daha ileriye gitmesi için birbirleriyle daha iyi ilişkilere sahip olunması gerektiği konusunda hemfikir. Bu yakınlık ve iletişim için teknolojinin daha iyi kullanılmasının yanı sıra her yıl farklı bir derginin editörlüğünde çok dilli ortak bir dergi çıkarma fikri de ortaya atıldı.

When I initially left a comment I appear to have clicked on the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now every time a comment is added I recieve 4 emails with the same comment. Perhaps there is a way you can remove me from that service? Many thanks.
