Kosova ile Sırbistan Sırpları bugün Kosova Meydan Muharebesi’nin 629’uncu yıldönümünü, “Vidovdan” olarak adlandırılan dini törenle anmaya hazırlanıyor.
Sırbistan ve Kosova’nın çeşitli yerlerinden gelmesi planlanan Sırplar, Kosova Meydan Muharebesi’nin 629’uncu yıldönümünü anmak için Priştine yakınlığındaki Gazimestan yerinde bir araya toplanacak.
Anma törenine , Sırp Ortodoks Klisesi’nin önde gelenleri yanı sıra, Sırbistan’ın Kosova’dan sorumlu yetkililerin de katılmaları bekleniyor.
Anma töreninde Sırp Ortodoks Klisesi’nin ruhani liderlerinden Patrik İrinej’inde hazır bulunacağı öğrenildi.
Anma törenin olaysız geçmesi için Kosova Polisi tarafından geniş güvenlik tedbirlerinin alındığı açıklandı.
Kosova Polisi tarafından yapılan yazılı açıklamada, her yıl gerginliklere neden olan kutlamanın kontrolden çıkmaması için polisin üst düzey güvenlik tedbirleri aldığı belirtildi.
