Facebook ve YouTube, IŞİD ve benzeri örgütlerin şiddet içeren videolarını yayından kaldırmak için yeni bir yöntem uyguluyor.
Chiponline’ın Reuters’a dayandırarak yaptığı habere göre, aslında ilk olarak telif hakları ile korunan materyalleri tespit edip kaldırmak için geliştirilen bu teknolojinin şimdi IŞİD videoları ve diğer benzer materyalleri kaldırmak için kullanıldığı belirtildi.
Söz konusu teknolojinin önceden kabul edilemez bulunan bir içeriğin yeniden yayınlanmasının önüne geçse de, yeni aşırılıkçı içerikleri tespit etmekte kullanılamayacağı da bir gerçek. Zira teknoloji bu videoları; önceden yüklenmiş kendine özgü belirli dijital parmak izleri üzerinden tespit edebiliyor.
Yine de bu otomatik sürecin web üzerindeki şiddet propagandasını kaldırmak için etkili bir yöntem olacağını söyleyebiliriz.
