CNN’in yerel kaynaklara dayanarak verdiği haberde, saldırıdaki ölü sayısının en az 26 olduğu belirtildi.
Haberde, ölenlerin arasında 2 yaşında bir çocuğun da olduğu bilgisine yer verildi.
Yerel kaynaklarda, saldırı anında kilisede kaç kişi olduğuna ilişkin kesin sayı verilmezken, bu kilisedeki ayine 50 civarında kişinin düzenli katıldığı belirtildi.
Wilson bölgesinden Şerif Joe Tackitt, saldırganın vurularak etkisiz hale getirildiğini, ölü veya yaralı sayısının henüz net olmadığını kaydetti.
